Long, long ago,, I bought some yarn. After a while, I decided to use it for socks for Matty. They were meant to be a present for Christmas 2007, but only one sock materialized. Finally, after a year, they were finished and gifted in time for the holidays this year.
So, here they are:
The pattern is the Tibetan sock from the book New Pathways for Sock knitting (which I just love so much, I'm selling it on the weekend. ha)
But, despite the delay, they were a success. Matty loves them, and they fit perfectly. So yay for my last FO of 2008.
(eta: They were knit with Mirasol Hacho, possibly the Northern Lights colourway. Anyways, the yarn is really nice, and a decent price too. Maybe not the best choice for socks though.)

funny you mention your affection for the book . . I've never used mine! LOL! Hey, at least you got a pair of socks out of it. And they are pretty damn nice too!
What great colors! I've got total sock envy right now.
Second the motion on the great colours- what yarn did you use?
Great colors! What's this yarn, it's awesome?
