I finally finished the yarn I started about 2 weeks ago. It hasn't been washed yet, so it will probably get a bit fluffier, but I'm in love.
The second ply was a lot easier to spin and draft after I stripped it down into 4 pieces. I don't really like that though. I should be able to spin right from the top.
In other crafty news, I haven't been knitting much. Pretty much right after my last post about the blue sweater, I decided that I would likely never wear it. I'm a warm person. A wool pullover can make sense, as a fall coat or something. But when would a mesh-lace, cowl-neck pullover ever make sense for me? I don't think I'll ever wear a wool sweater indoors... Unless it's fingering weight, of course.

I love your new yarn! The colors are awesome.
I used to spin from whole, unbroken top too, but find strips actually faster since I don't predraft them beyond tearing-- plus it feels like an accomplishment to finish one bit where the whole unbroken fiber feels like it moves sooo slow ;) Have a good weekend!
Pretty yarn- love the colours!
I strip my fibre down before I spin- much much faster.
Purty yarn. However you had to get 'er done, it turned out pretty!
I love the colors and the way you plied it really shows it off - although I have to say I enjoy the single. But then, I am a singles kind of girl!
:)
Happy Spinning.

p.s. I have some Lambie farm roving right now that is swwwwwweeeet. The staple length is so long it just spins itself. Awesome.
