Wow.

I wonder why I have had nothing to say. In my absence, I've spun 2 balls of yarn. Ta da! Now my bobbins are nice and cleared up so I can be actually productive.

Hollyeqq batt, plied with 2 types of sparkly thread. Lumpy, bumpy, dunno what to use it for yarn.




2 Loop babycakes (both sparkly, one black, one white), spun alternately, to make stripes. I think I will make this into a very sparkly scarf someday, when I figure out what on earth to use to warp my loom.





I had a really nice weekend, and did lots of stuff. Wandered pretty much all over Toronto. Went to the market, went to 3 different wool stores (and bought something in each, yikes!), got a haircut at House of Lords (best haircut in a year), ate falafel, sushi, veggie burger, yum. I bought Malabrigo lace of incredible softness (to make a Kusha Kusha scarf), the new Knitscene, and some very nice, very cheap clearance yarn to make Riding to Avalon.
