Odessa!

I decided a while ago that I would knit Odessa for my mom. And today, in one of my most productive days, I finished it! (I also finished off a 2000 word essay...)

It only looks nice stretched out, it is rather lumpish and odd when it's not being worn. But so soft, so pretty! I'm so pleased.

ha ha thanks! it's a sort of odd beige colour. a bit gold, i think. the beads are a creamy gold. it's rowan cashsoft, in the tape colourway. i haven't seen any very accurate pictures online though.

Oh pretty! That really was a productive day!! I'm sure your mother will love this hat - who wouldn't?

I need to email you with some sock color and pattern questions soon! :)

Looks great! I want to make one but head hugger hats look ridiculous on me...I wonder if I just make it a size or two bigger...

wow, thanks :)
i think you could make it bigger fairly easily, it's just a 10 stitch repeat, or use a worsted weight, maybe.
my mom and i both have short hair, so hats work well (except when they make me look bald)
